try blue lake. easten side of the creast.
the turn off hwy 88, is about five or so miles west of where 89 from south lake junction is at.
plenty of dry camp just off the hwy. the rd to blue lake is paved now.
it is a in and out rd. not plowed in the winters.
as of today, ( sept 21 2018) no fires in that area.
(cost) food n fuel in minden nv. alpine county, ca.has nothing.
but deer season is here in ca. so becarefull out in the trees.
