I use the same fitting as Tom & Sharon. I use a canister compressor and I set the regulator to 30-35 psi. Instead of bypassing the in-line house filter I just remove the filter and empty the canister, then screw it back on. You could find a plumbing fitting to cap the filter if need be. In my case my filter is permanently attached (screwed to the SOB), so just removing the filter does the trick for me. When I'm finished blowing the lines I empty any residual from the filter canister.
