The J-wrap is pretty easy to remove and reinstall. If it were my rig, I'd remove the J-wrap, take it to a metal fab shop and ask them to make a new one. Then to a body shop to get it painted and then reinstall it. You can buy 16 foot lengths of J-wrap from RV materials suppliers but the shipping cost is off the charts due to the size.
