Our 08 Ford has 33K miles on it and will be 3 years old on the 29th of August so our BB warranty is over..

we have 5 years 60K on the drive train and 5 years 100K on the diesel motor still in effect.

We purchased the Premium care ESP warranty which extends the Bumper to bumper for another 4 years and 64K miles. The power train for two years and 40K and the diesel motor for two years and 40K' We are averaging 11K miles a year so we will not run over the mileage limit.

It cost us 1940.00. Not a small amount of dollars. That is @ 485.00 for the extra 4 years of coverage.

have a chat with your service manager, any brand and check the
cost of Even a small failure like a alternator or water pump.

I am not handy or a do it yourself'er. I would normally buy a new truck when the warranty is up but figured the ESP was more cost effective besides this 08 Ford does a great job and the diesel motor is not broke in yet.
