Since we are not full timers, our fiver may sit for maybe 3 months under the RV port in hibernation ... it may sit another month on into the year. It's hard to keep track of how much propane use that's gone on compared to being in your fiver every day. Sooooo .... the Mopeka setup already described works well for us. I got the kit that had a little display I mounted in the area of the Montana switch cluster, but I also downloaded the app ... both work well. If you do have issues with iffy signal, just sand off enough of the paint off the bottom of the tank so the sensor sits right on bare metal. I split 1/4" vacuum hose and laced it on the metal ring on the bottom of my tanks ... gives just a bit more space for the sensor to live better.

I'm not a fan of the auto switchover ... that feature has left RVer's high and dry without propane many times.
