Our rig is plugged in full time but we leave the refrigerator off until a day or two before going on a trip then turn it on. When we travel we turn the frig
off as I don't like having the propane turned on while we are moving ( many owners do travel with the propane on and many don't, it's up to the individual owner). We found our frig and freezer will keep everything cold or frozen for at least 8-10 hours). When we stop for a period of time of for the night we turn it back on.
