Personally, we're lucky to have pretty good coverage at a reasonable price via wife being a former federal employee. But we would definitely be looking into a health sharing coverage if we had to buy in the current market.
I've heard good things about Samaritan Ministries. Many testimonies suggest that people have cut their insurance and medical costs by more than half using a Health Sharing program. I expect this is true when comparing it to buying insurance outside of a large group plan.
