I don’t buy insurance that I don’t think is needed. I don’t buy ESPs or life insurance. I don’t have collision insurance. I don’t insure my camper, but health insurance is one I wouldn’t be without. I wouldn’t wont to be like a friend who had a $2,000,000 dollar hospital bill. If he didn’t have good insurance Duke university would have said sorry.
My wife’s monthly bill before she turned 65, 6 years ago was $1100 per month with a $2500 deductible. A 1000 or $1100 now sound like a bargain.
