There was still construction eastbound on I 70 at Idaho Springs, this was on Tuesday this week (please check calendars to determine date, we are retired, I am not sure of date, I am lucky to remember what day of the week it was! LOL)

We blasted, err, rolled right through Denver on I 70, at 4 PM on Tuesday. The traffic slowed down a few times, but, it was no worse than any other larger city, and we have seen worse, done worse. There was also some construction just past Denver, again, eastbound, that slowed us down a bit. If you get in the center lane and drive wisely it is doable.
