We also have the Yamaha 3000iSEB inverter generator. It's good for about 2800 watts continuous and 3500 watts for starting the big load like that 15K AC. With the auto throttle control it burns only the amount of fuel needed to get the immediate job done. Pretty slick! It is "very" quiet and fits nicely between my front tool box and the 5er hitch. BTW, it will also charge a 12V battery at the same time it provides AC power. Just the thing to top-off the TV or other external backup power source.

They have recently come down in price....running about $1900 in ads that I have seen.
