Mine's pretty loud, too. It's the main reason we try not to boondock. Not jackhammer loud, but its definitely noticeable. Then being in a campground with other trailer's that have loud pumps and we just deal with it.
It's ironic though, when you are around tenter's that don't have water pressure like in our trailers, as long as they know what it is and it's not during quiet times, they deal with it, too, then they mostly envy the rest of the conveniences we have. Inviting them over to watch some TV shows or sports doesn't help either.
