Once you've got your plumbing figured out and are certain your pump is loud, there's a couple of things you can do. Our Monty came with the quietest pump there is for the money (Shurflow Revolution) unless you want to put out more than a couple hundred bucks. It did annoy me though as it's right under the floor in the short hallway in front of our bedroom and our bathroom. There's a kit from Shurflow that consists of a couple of lengths of hose that you install making loops on the intake and output sides of the pump. This and putting an additional rubber pad under the pump did the trick. A year later we must have had some debris get into the pump and it quit while on the road. I picked up a more expensive pump from a local RV dealer, hooked it up and it was louder than the Revolution was on day one! Went back to another Revolution (and also was able to unclog the old one) and won't change again.
