i have found that if you have the door open hold the pilot light down for about 10 to 15 seconds then push the light button this will get the thermal coupling hot and the oven will light that if you do the mod all the parts for this can be bought at lowes or home depot i think this took me about 40 mins to do and 40 mins for the DW she want to clean the oven best time to clean it when it is out side are stove gets a work out now and i feel it 20lbs heavier hot cookies and milk go down real good when watching TV
