My bad. Got a serious case of senioritis! My curiosity got stoked and I went outside and checked(with a flashlight looking for wayward snakes). Funny how a quick look can jar a memory. I got a locking female 50A plug(straight plug)and wired it in according to included instructions. The stress of the cable bending 90' to the ground will eventually(at least it did for me)pull the cable sheath loose from the plug and stress the wires inside the plug. I then bought a 90' locking adapter(I think this was the thing that was pricey). Sorry but I forgot I had the adapter on it since it never comes off. It wasn't a cheap way to go but I haven't had a problem since. Hence the forgetfulness.
