Two ply, whatever I find at the discount stores. Never RV paper.
As I have said mega times here, More water, less Paper.
Translated: You can figure out more water, just don't flush, flush and rinse.
Less paper: Don't put the slightly used paper IN the toilet. Small trash can nearby is the depository for that. Take the trash out once a day. Really dirty paper does go down, yaaaa.
WITH MORE WATER!
Calgon sometimes when we roll, especially if we have been sitting for a month or so. Maybe add a touch of laundry detergent. Toilet chemicals, you know that blue stuff, only when the ambient temperatures will be 90ish for days.
Less paper and more water.
(Boondockers are forgiven the more water rule, but, the less paper rule is even MORE important in that situation.)
