I tried the same thing on the dually rims, Steve. First trip out, pressure monitor shows a leak (of course on the inner tire). A quick check showed I could actualy unseal the rubber valve stem be simply pressing it sideways. The sensors were doing the same thing when in motion due to the centrifugal forces applied to the stems. We also have steel stems on all four rear tv tires now.
