I don't think the brake controller on my 2012 F-250 is any different than that of your F-350. Having guessed that, I have my built-in controller set at 7.5. This seems to work well. I currently have only towed my two month old Monte for 1500 miles. On Monday I'll be heading out on a 7500 mile trip so I may have a different setting when I get back.
