Hi Folks,
Just for the halibut, I set the switch setting to 10 MPH, I love it. If you put the shift in 1st or 2nd, and throw the torque lock switch, the torque converter locks right now. You must be careful to not do this with high RPM (lots of slipping). You want the RPM pretty close to lock RPM to avoid wearing out the clutches in the transmission.
I get the truck moving put in 2nd, very little peddle and flipped the switch to lock and it does. I also tried 1st gear lock, and that worked too. That will be great for steep roads in campgrounds we visit, where the trucks free wheels going down the hill because of the low speed.
Haven't done complete testing yet, just driving around the neighborhood (25MPH), it appears when transmission is in (D)rive, it doesn't lock at lower speed than it did before, but put it in 1st or 2nd, it locks immediately.
