You have already figured out that "one size does not fit all". We quickly figured that out when we started "long timing". We spent our first winter in Florida and put about 9000 miles on the truck. We went up, down, and everywhere in between. We decided Florida was expensive and not very user friendly. Most Snowbirds were but the locals were not. We went to Texas and have been very happy there for six years. FWIW we pay about $500 a month, electric included, for a three month stay. I believe the park across the street is about $1200 + electric for the season. There are pretty nice places even cheaper. Winter Texans are friendly and so are the natives.
