I would first remove the filter screen from your faucet (where the water comes out) and see if you have any calcification or other debris in it. I'm thinking that by turning on your bathroom faucet (I bet you haven't tried it with your shower) you are causing the pressure to lessen somewhat which may be helping the water at the kitchen faucet to navigate the debris.
