Larry, We ordered our previous Mountaineer and our current Montana with double pane windows and have not regretted it. It is easier to cool in hot weather and easier to heat when it is a bit nippy outside. It is quieter inside and you will have no condensation when it is humid. The down side is you will be adding some weight. It is exciting ordering a new Montana and we wish all the best. Cheers, Dean & Mel
