Had both timbrens and air bags. On rough roads I didn't like the way they bottomed out. I carry a tool box with 2 honda generators and it seemed they always hit the bumper. I removed them and installed air bags. It made a big difference in the ride. Empty I set the air to 10 pounds and I felt I was riding on a cloud.
