I can't help you with CG's close to NYC but I can tell you, DON'T drive into the city with the trailer. Tight, overcrowded streets, low tunnels no parking and a hundred other obsticles. You'll have to wait until 3 AM to get back out with a police escort. I've taken just the duelly through Manhattan a couple of times and that was an adventure. Find a CG that has transportation into the city and leave the truck at home. My guess is that you will probably be 30 to 60 minutes from the city. Expect to pay $$$ since you'll be close to the city.
It's still worth the trip, though.
