Well I do use the GPS as my Map and Compass. It worked for me but as stated in other posts, we have to be responsible. I did email the township suggesting the put a 3 TON limit sign at the intersection where the 13' 3" height sign was.
I too pre-plan our trips on the computer with Delorme Mapping. That lets me know what route I want to take and then set the truck GPS to route me.
As my wife said this is an adventure.
