Eagle Man, re: "the other "real" sticker. It lists the maximum weight that must never be exceeded, regardless of tires or anything else that are changed. It says, "The combined weight of cargo and occupants should never exceed xxxx pounds."
As Richfaa pointed out, this would be the Payload Capacity. As an example, my "sticker" (2005 F-350 CC LB PSD) shows a max payload of 3552. So when I'm travelling somewhat "normal" I have a little over 2400 lbs weight on the pin, and another 1000 lbs in passengers, dogs, tools, and hitch. So normally I am still within the "sticker".
