tom41 is right on the money. 1/2" drive works great. When tighting make sure you don't over tighten the filter and ruin the "O" ring. I tighten a little after contact and crank the engine.
If it's leaking shut it off and retighten a little more.
Don't forget to pull the lever on the fuel filter case and drain the water and goop out. Then put the new filter on.
