My husband and I are planning to place our order for a 3500 within the next week!!

I really appreciate all of your feedback. We will try with the foam mattresses....I do believe that they will work for our kids. We are planning to order the unit with the jack-knife sofa. Hopefully this will work for the kids.

I will certainly let everyone know once we have finally pulled the trigger and ordered the unit.
