Taking it to the factory would be a wise decision. That way you are sure to get to the right people.
I have read quite a few post on this problem and if I understand it properly the main frame is still intact and the rig would be towable even though it looks bad. The welds for the walls is what broke loose from the main frame so the main frame should still support towing.
A 2003 is still under the five year warranty for the frame and I am sure Lippert will make it good. They always have.
