I've traveled I-75 through Atlanta several times towing my camper(s) over the years. I followed the signs. I don't remember if I was on some of the by-passes or or what, I just followed the I-75 signs. I got though the area just fine with no issues at all. For some odd reason, we managed to travel through Atlanta on Sunday mornings before noon. Never had traffic issues.
It's probably been 5 years now since we've traveled through Atlanta. But Interstates don't change their logistics.
