We recently purchased a "Simply Exquisite" 4 inch mattress topper by Carpenter from Camping World. It has 2 inches of dense memory foam covered by another 2 inches of fiber fill. We like it. It makes the bed much more comfortable.
In the end, I agree the best solution is to replace the OEM mattress with one to our liking. We had a lot of work done in the past few months, this topper made sense for our current trip.
