The pin weights vary a lot in percentage. My Mountaineer was listed at 2015 lb by Keystone. Gross weight listed is 14000 lb. my actual pin weight over the scales is around 2400. That is 17 per cent. Keystone weight is when it is empty and shipped, I believe. Anyway, the per cent varies greatly by where the axles are placed. If way forward pin weight is less, and backward more.

Many others have posted their scale weights and they get close to 30%. You just have to scale it and find the real answer.
And money isn't the only issue with going dually. I store mine in my single car garage door, so a dually won't work for me.
