I agree with sourdough about Shreveport. That stretch of I-20 thru Shreveport and Bossier City is honestly the worst highway I have ever driven on, towing or not. Unless they have made recent improvements I would take I-220 around the north side of Shreveport/BC. Only marginally longer.
