I do not use the memory unhook at all but when unhooking I lift the front of the trailer a little bit to take the load off the truck. Bingo that's what I'm.looking for the best way!
I will be trying several that I have learned so far hooking and unhooking in the next couple of months. I guess the fool proof way is put in tire change mode under settings. The other way I have not tried yet when unhooking is to hit the alt- level button I believe that this will work for unhooking but have not tried yet. When hooking up I'm really not sure which method will work, I have several options that I will try.
