Almost any engine will out last the vehicle no matter what oil you use. Royal Purple might be the best but any good oil will work. Synthetic is better than regular oil it’s all I use but do you need it? I doubt it but you are protecting a very expensive engine and a few extra bucks don’t make much difference.
