It will take more than 5-10 years to get the grid up for everyone having an EV. Also, where does the power come from? Wind isn't reliable and sun only part of the day and not much of a part up north. Just foolish day dreaming in my opinion. There may be some sort of new break thru, but we don't know.

I did see some BYU prof got a small nuke reactor going that uses a salt solution or such that cant go off with no cooling, so that may be a possibility.
