As Ron mentioned above, the year and model would help. But I believe you have a not uncommon problem. The common name for this is a "pivot door hinge". Do a "Search" using the Brown Box near the top of the page for "pivot door hinge" or variations on that theme and you will find many solutions. Here is a link to one Thread with 110 Posts.
