I refill the OEM tank at 1/4 down also. I will put some in the Transfer tank will I here the prices are going up, only about 36 gals, or so. Depends on what the price of Oil is. I learned a very long time ago, not to worry about how many MPG nor the cost, it is what it is. The prices will continue up for the next 3 years. Then we hope things will get better. It is devastating what is happening.
When we had the Freightliner Sports chassis fuel was over $4.00 a gal out near California, I would normally refuel when it was at 1/4 of a tank, we had to twin 80 gal tanks.
