Honestly, slow speed, plenty of distance between vehicles and awareness of constant changing winter road conditions are very difficult skills to maintain or master. Always best to play it safe and not take a chance if possible. Black ice will jump up and snatch the best drivers sometimes as fast as a blink of an eye. It is a constant challenge in Northern Wisconsin winters and it has inflicted a lot of property damage, injury and unfortunately death in some cases.
