This has been an ongoing problem since the introduction of gas struts on the baggage compartment doors in 2012 (or there about). DO a Search on "strut" or "baggage door" or what ever you want and should find 12 to 15 Threads with solutions. The most common solution involves larger plates and epoxy glue along with the screws.
