I have the honda and am glad i bought it but the champion will do the same thing. If you are planning on using the generator a lot then the honda will certainly last longer but the champion will still last a lot of years and do what you want it to do. 2,000 watts is 2,000 watts no matter whose generator you choose. I used my generator in Quartzsite this past January and there were mostly 2,000 watt generators there used to charge there batteries as we were all dry camping and they worked great.
