I have used both the built in GPS (in my 2012 F350 and DW’s 2015 Expy) and a couple of Garmins. The Garmins have some features I like. But I really don’t like it sitting on the dash. Specially one with a large screen. And I always felt a need to put it down out of sight at night or when left in a store parkng lot any time.

The built ins have served me well. And I really like the large screen. And being able to talk to it by touching a button on the steering wheel.
