No big problem
As I said above, a broom and a towel or two.

As far as water, I can count on my 10 fingers and probably have 6-8 unused how many times we have broken camp in a major rain over 45 years. You will not get any more water inside in a driving rain then you would with conventional steps.

Dirt - that happens regardless
