Quality Issues

We bought our second Montana because we were convinced of its value relative to the competition and price point. That, however, makes "little things" more disappointing.

First, the vent covers that came on our '07 3500RL (Mfgd 04/1807) were thin as parchment and resilient as poor glass. All three in the bedroom/bathroom area broke within the first few thousand miles of towing. (Our oldest "new" one has lasted a year, and nearly 8,000 miles.)

Second, the first extinguishers are positively unsafe in the contex of use in a small living area. How long will they last when used? Four seconds?

Both of these need an upgrade which you may have already addressed. In general, "going cheap" on essential items is not becoming a quality product such as Montana.

Thanks for your consideration.
