Kaluha

5 cups brown sugar
1½ cups white sugar
¾ cup Folgers Instant Coffee (2 oz.)
2 quarts water
5 oz. Pure vanilla (Shilling is good)
1 quart (1 liter) Ever Clear Grain Alcohol

Bring the brown sugar, white sugar, coffee and water to a boil. Be careful. Once it starts coming to a boil it can boil over VERY quickly and burn you. Do not leave unattended. It’s also a good idea to have small children & pets out of the way. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Stir well and allow to cool. Stir a number of times while it cools. Once cool add the Ever Clear. Mix well. Store in dark bottles in a dark place. Mix with cream or milk for a great drink. Especially good after helping DH get parked and set up.
