This may not be an improvement but I bought a lock similar to a bicycle lock and put it through the highest pin holes on my parked fiver at the camp ground. The thought was that it would make it more difficult to steal the trailer if you can't raise the front legs. I am not sure if this is a good idea or not but it is a cheap one. I may be able to use it for the lock on the fifth wheel also if it fits.
