Janis was diagnosed with endometrial cancer two years ago and we thought she had beaten it. Went to the ER today due to sever pain in her right side. The resultant CT scan revealed the cancer has metastasized to her right ling and liver. We are getting up with an oncologist in the morning to see where destiny takes us.

Update: As you know from my first post Janis's endometrial cancer metastasized into her liver and right lung. We started chemo soon thereafter and her third treatment was three weeks ago followed by a PET scan. The initial prognosis was not good and we were expecting the worst. However, God and your prayers intervened and there is considerable shrinkage in all her tumors. Most notable, a 1.3 inch reduction in the size of the original three inch mass on her liver. Yesterday she had her fourth chemo and we will do another PET scan after the sixth chemo. For us, this is our best Christmas ever, through God's grace and your prayers we have more time together.
