I've got them on my 2005, and I do watch them close. No problems so far. I did have a problem with aluminum wheels on my old 1999 F-150 pickup, but it was caused by something I did, and was not a wheel defect. Even a steel wheel would be damaged after smacking a concrete block at 40 MPH.
