WHAT'S GOING ON?

You know we have 76 units registered this year for the Fall Rally and I've been going through the things you could/should be signing up for but we have a lot of the events that are really coming up short! I would suggest you go through the events and see if you have signed up for them or would like to sign up for them!

Here's a list of the events and the number that have signed up for them:

Tiara Dinner--72 Not bad but don't you want a FREE dinner? WELL THIS ONE IS!! Sign up on the post here under the Fall Rally.

White Elephant Gift Exchange--31 Don't know what it is? Check out the post on this event here on the Fall Rally section of the Forum. It's truly a fun event!

Factory Tour
--72 Not bad again but don't you want to know how your rig is put together from frame up? That's what it is all about! You might even get to see a proto-type of a new unit coming out from the Montana Division of Keystone.

Amish Dinner--54 units This is truly a great event to go to and it is held at an Amish families home. There is a limit on the number of attendees on this event so sign up now!

Meet and Greet and Eat--58 This is the opening event where you find out all about the Fall Rally and meet your Wagon Masters and the Coordinators in-charge of the events.

Potluck Dinner-- 49 What? Don't you want to eat and get to taste some of the best food in the world. This is your chance to taste the foods that the Great MOC Cooks from across this nation cook up for all of us to share!

Wine and Cheese Event-- 45 This is not what it appears- it is a get-together that we all bring something to drink and it does NOT have to be wine or an alcoholic beverage. It can be anything from water to hard stuff and that is your choice. We just ask that you bring an appetizer if possible and join in on the fun.

Ladies Luncheon-- 32 What a better way to get to meet some of your fellow MOC ladies and have a great lunch. This again has a limit to the number that the restaurant can handle-50 to be exact- so if you are interested check out the post and sign up ladies. Men let your ladies know about it so they can join in on the fun and you can sit back have yourself a bologna sandwich and attend the Reese/Drawtite and the Tredit Sessions!

Height Measurement-- 38 Want to know the height of your rig so you don't go under something and take off that air conditioner? Check out the post on it!

Pin Cushion Class-- 13 this is for the ladies or even the gents that might want to learn and make a pincushion for the rig.

15 Minute Service Advisor Visits-- 43 Have things wrong with your rig that you would like to show a Service Tech? This is your chance! There is no guarantee that they can do anything about it but at least you can show them and maybe they will see if they can help you!

Potluck Breakfast-- 49 Again you don't like to eat? This is your chance once again to show off your skills as a cook or just bring something to share with the rest of the MOC Attendees. We all eat breakfast don't we, so why not come to this event. Check out the post and join the rest of us for a great breakfast buffet!

Computer Class-- 17 The MOC website has been in disrepair for a while but this is your chance for Carol to show you how to do certain things on the website and your chance to learn from someone that that is great on the computer!

Hand Signal Class-- 18 This is a fun class! Anyone can pull your rig and TV into a pull-thru site but what about backing that rig in? Jim and Vicki show us the correct way to back that rig into a site and show us the hand signals that you need to know to communicate between the guide and driver in the TV.

Full Timing/ Work Camping--19 This is a great way to learn the plus' and the minus' of Full Timing in your rig. The Work Camping is just as it says--you learn things about Working while you are on the road either Fulltiming or Long Timing.

Ladies Driving School--22 First timers plus 6 second timers Ladies this is your chance to give your man a break in driving down the road! Take this class and you'll learn how to hook-up and disconnect the rig; back up the rig into a camping site; and take a short trip on the road to get used to driving the TV with that hunkin' thing in tow!

Bracelet Craft Class-- 25 This one is for the ladies again but the gents can participate if they like too! Make yourself a beaded bracelet in this class and take it back to the rig with you. Check out the sign-up thread under this section of the Fall Rally!

Quilters Class
-- 10 This is for the ladies or the gents to if they want to join in. It's for anyone from "Never done it" to the quilter with experience. Terri does quilts on her own and has really done some great ones. Last year the quilters did a quilt for LadyRV, one of the MOC Administrators and founder of MOC. Great class Terri! Sorry I forgot to add this one!

Last but not least--
Questionaires that have been sent to you-- We still have 3 that have not returned their questionaires that Tom S, our Rally Booklet Editor, has sent out to you and 2 unit that has not sent in a picture of yourselves. These questionaires are important because Tom gathers the information on them and puts them under your name in the Rally Booklet that each of you will receive in your Welcome packet! Please if you have not returned yours or if you have not gotten one, PM Tom S and ask Tom to sent you one. Fill it out and return it to Tom as soon as possible so he can put the Booklet together and get it to the printers so we get them back for the Rally! Thanks

There are other classes and sessions that are being held but do not need a sign up to go. Those are the Tips and Tricks which you learn from your fellow MOC members in attendance at the Rally what they have found to make thing just a little bit easier around the RV and the TV. Everyone can pickup something from this session in the big tent. Day/Night Shade repair is a class that you do hands on work to learn how to restring or repair your Day/Night shades if the break or start to ravel! Great learning experience!

Also don't forget to bring prizes from your local dealer, Camping World or even one of the businesses that you do business with to put on the Raffle Table for the Raffle, the Daily drawings and the Silent Auction! This is the way the Fall Rally is paid for! The tents, audio system, supplies and even the porta-pottys are not free! These prizes you bring and the Raffle tickets you purchase help to pay for your Rally.
