Had the same issue with the door under our bed...

Had the same issue with the door under our bed slide. I removed the screws from the jamb and moved the brackets up around a 1/2" . door now opens up 2 more inches.

Be careful how far you move...

FYI They do make a anode/drain valve combo that empties the tank with the turn of a petcock. No more plug to remove. Easy peasy.

Never thought of that that's a good solution also. With the bar you can open it anywhere along that bar left side right side Center doesn't matter. Normally without any modification you have to open...

I have an 11 unit also. Mine has a dometic 9100 awning. The motor is in the roller tube on the right side, nearest the hitch. More complicated then just remove and replace. There are u-tube video's...

I believe Carl is correct. After dumping, some water/sewage is left behind in the low areas of the drain pipes. When you drive, it works its way to the outlet cap.
