The first thing we do is to measure the distance from the rig to the pedestal. (We use a marked pool noodle). Then chock the tires, unhitch, then level. After that the slides go out.

Our 2021 3121 RL has the 3rd switch as the scare light, drivers side. I promptly labeled all switches and the changed out the bright white LED hitch light to an amber lense.

Believe it or not, I found an amber hitch light...

Believe it or not, I found an amber hitch light at Harbor Freight! On our 2021 3121rl, I didn't like the white LED "hitch light". I changed it out to amber from HF and all is well!
